Our Commitment to Quality: Warranty Overview

Ecological Systems offers a full warranty on all installations, workmanship, products, and components. The duration of the warranty is subject to each project; however, they generally follow the following:

• Power Purchase Agreements - the warranty applies for the full duration of the agreement term.
• In most PPAs, this term is 25 years but can be shorter with renewals built in, or longer depending on the project
• This level of warranty is atypical in the industry and one of the biggest competitive advantages of Ecological Systems. Our mission is maximizing “operational” solar. To achieve this, the company stands behind its installation, workmanship, and selected components to ensure performance and reliability.
• System Purchases – The warranty for purchases covers the first 15 years of the project's operation.
• This level of warranty is atypical in the industry and one of the biggest competitive advantages of Ecological Systems. Our mission is maximizing “operational” solar. To achieve this, the company stands behind its installation, workmanship, and selected components to ensure performance and reliability.

Manufactures Warranties

• In most applications, the panels are covered for at least 20 years but often cover 25 to 40 years of product life.
• The solar panels themselves are incredibly robust of simple. It's rare to have an issue.
• Inverters are a critical component of an array. Typically, manufacturers offer a 10 – 20-year warranty, though Ecological Systems generally uses vendors that offer 20 years+
• Battery manufacturers generally offer 10-year warranties
